About the Role

OWLSystems Solutions is seeking an experienced Software Developer (Web Applications) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, deploying, maintaining, and supporting web applications and CMS-based solutions. You will work closely with project managers, developers, QA teams, and clients to deliver high-quality digital experiences and custom integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, customize, and maintain websites and web applications using Drupal 9/10 and WordPress.
Build and support custom PHP themes, modules, and plugins.
Convert UI/UX designs into responsive, cross-browser compatible web applications.
Develop and optimize backend functionality using PHP and MySQL.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues identified through QA processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web projects on time and within scope.
Support existing client applications, websites, and integrations.
Ensure code quality, performance, security, and scalability best practices.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience in web application development.
Strong hands-on experience with Drupal 9/10 and WordPress.
Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and jQuery.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
Experience developing responsive, mobile-friendly websites and applications.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
