Senior UX/Product Designer

About the Role

OWLSystems Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Senior UX/Product Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate will combine user-centered design principles with strategic thinking to deliver innovative solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Research, and Marketing teams throughout the Product Development Lifecycle, transforming complex challenges into seamless user experiences while contributing to the evolution of our design systems and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user-centric experiences for iOS, Android, and Web platforms following platform-specific design guidelines and best practices.
• Lead UX discovery, user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping, and interaction design activities.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Marketing teams to define and deliver product initiatives aligned with business objectives and OKRs.
• Advocate for customer needs and ensure accessibility standards are embedded throughout the design process.
• Conduct and leverage user research, analytics, usability testing, and behavioral insights to inform design decisions.
• Create and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries, and design standards.
• Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of digital experiences through iterative design and experimentation.
• Mentor and support other designers, fostering a culture of collaboration and design excellence.
• Stay informed about emerging design trends, technologies, AI-driven workflows, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, or Interaction Design.
• 1+ year of experience leading, mentoring, or guiding Product Designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes and successful product outcomes.
• Expertise in modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of Human Interface Guidelines (iOS), Material Design (Android), and responsive web design principles.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, information architecture, and interaction design.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in HCI, UX Design, Psychology, Social Sciences, Research, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience designing consumer-facing digital products in regulated industries such as FinTech, Healthcare, or Financial Services.
• 2+ years of experience leveraging Generative AI tools to enhance product design workflows.
• Experience designing motion graphics, micro-interactions, animations, and interactive mobile experiences.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum product development environments.
