Implementation Consultant

About the Role

OWLSystems Solutions is looking for an Implementation Consultant to join our Client Services team. The role involves managing client onboarding projects, configuring SaaS platforms, supporting data setup and validation, and providing consulting and guidance throughout the implementation process.

The ideal candidate should have strong project management, technical configuration, problem-solving, and client communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end client implementations from kickoff through go-live, managing timelines, milestones, scope, and risks.
• Conduct discovery sessions to understand client requirements and business processes.
• Configure SaaS platforms, workflows, settings, and reporting based on client requirements.
• Support data imports, data mapping, and data validation to ensure accurate setup.
• Define and execute testing to validate configurations before go-live.
• Troubleshoot configuration and system setup issues during implementation.
• Guide clients on platform capabilities, workflows, and best practices.
• Communicate project updates, requirements, risks, and changes clearly with clients and internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with client administrators and senior stakeholders.
• Manage multiple implementation projects while maintaining quality and timelines.
• Collaborate with Client Success, Support, Sales, and Product teams for smooth project delivery and handoffs.
• Maintain documentation related to configurations, client requirements, and key project decisions.
• Contribute to implementation playbooks, templates, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• 2–4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, technical consulting, software delivery, or a similar role.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent implementation projects.
• Experience with AMS, LMS, nonprofit, membership, or similar SaaS platforms is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, a technical field, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Technical Skills

• Experience configuring SaaS platforms, including admin settings, workflows, and system options.
• Experience with data imports and data validation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar project management platforms.
• Comfortable using AI tools for research, documentation, communication, problem-solving, and productivity.
