Trainee – Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Run both manual and automated test cases and report results.
• Find, document, and report software bugs in a clear and organized manner.
• Work with developers and other team members to understand software requirements and ensure issues are resolved.
• Maintain records of testing activities, including test results, test scripts, and defect tracking.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing practices by providing feedback and suggesting improvements.

Required Candidate Profile

• Recent graduates who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and interested in starting a career in software testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with testing concepts, such as test cases, bug tracking, and testing phases (preferred but not required).
• Basic understanding of any programming language (e.g., html and css)
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to pay attention to detail, think critically, and solve problems.
• Comfortable working with a team and able to communicate findings in a clear and concise manner.
• Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and approaches to software testing.
